Hi, I'm Nikki.

I’m a strategic communications professional with more than 10 years of experience developing integrative messaging strategies for nonprofits and companies alike. I have deep expertise in managing and driving communications teams to do their best work and considerable experience in messaging development.

In my current role as managing editor of education, research, and physician content at NYU Langone Health, I shape digital communications strategies and lead a team of writers and editors to develop content that drives narrative change and advances the medical center’s mission to teach, to serve, and to discover.

I believe healthcare is a human right and am passionate about promoting health equity and wellbeing for historically marginalized people including communities of color, LGBTQ+ folks, and low-income and disenfranchised individuals. In my spare time, I advocate for reproductive justice as an organizer with New York City for Abortion Rights, and for universal healthcare volunteering on the Campaign for New York Health and Medicare for All initiatives. I also serve on the editorial collective for Science for the People Magazine.

My strengths include project management, digital communications, social media management, email marketing, staff mentorship and development, strategic planning, and community mobilization. I am a successful convener, collaborator, and coordinator with excellent organizational and administrative skills.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in writing and literature from Rowan University and a graduate certificate in publishing from NYU.
